University of Wroclaw is one of the bigest universities in Poland. It is principal institution of higher education at Wroclaw and in the region of Lower Silesia. In 2002 the University celebrated 300 anniversary of its foundation. Among people who were working or studying at the University there are 12 Nobel Price laureates in: physics, chemistry, medicine, literature.
