Students' Scientific Clubs |
- Scientific Club of Astronomers (ASI) .
The students of astronomy from all levels of study form the Club. It is by no means obligatory,
so not every one is there. But this club is very popular. Despite activities related to the acquiring
astronomical knowledge and know how of observations performed in observatories the students
are involved in popularization of astronomy for general public. Excellent occasions for that make various types of
ecclipses.

- Scientific Club of Physicists (ITP) .
It is a club grouping students of physics and theoretical physics of various levels. Traditionaly there is weekly meeting,
where students give a seminar or they invite active scientists to present interesting lecture on their area of interest but,
in form accesible for students. From time to time the KNF (it is a Polish acronim for the name of this club) organizes also
excursions to the Joint Institute of Nuclear Research in Dubna/Russia (near Moscow).
There is a very nice satellite event related to the Winter School of Theoretical Physics organized by the KNF. During the
period of the Karpacz School students participate the so called Kindergarten of Theoretical Physics. It is in location of
the School and the best lecturers are invited to the Kindergarted to give pedagogical and particularly clear lectures. One must
say that from these lectures profit not only students but also "regular" participants of the School.
